Native to Australia and traditionally used by Aboriginal people, Tea
Tree oil has great germicidal qualities. It is used in a range of products
including antiseptics, deodorants, shampoos and conditioners, soaps,
hand and body lotions, creams, gels, liniments and nail polish removers.
Tea Tree oil has also been used in the treatment of acne, athletes foot,
boils, burns, chicken pox, cold sores, cuts, carbuncles, impetigo, infections
of the nail bed, itching, insect bites, ringworm, sores, scabies and
warts. Tea Tree oil is used as an insect repellent and an immune system
stimulant.
